Founded in 1984, Borneo Divers is a pioneer in Sipadan, and the first PADI 5 Star Dive Centre in Mabul Island offering the best in training and diving facilities on the island. The dive team offers day trips to Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai (not to mention unlimited house reef dives, subject to the limitations of your dive profile). Whether you are a seasoned diver or someone who is looking to get certified, the dive team at Borneo Divers will ensure you are in good hands.

Fixed Land Transfer Schedule
• Tawau Airport to Semporna: 1030hrs, 1500hrs
• Semporna to Tawau Airport: 1200hrs, 1500hrs
Fixed Boat Schedule
- • Semporna Jetty to Mataking: 0930hrs, 1200hrs, 1630hrs
• Mataking back to Semporna Jetty: 1100hrs, 1400hr
* Note: The resort reserves the right to change the land/boat transfers due to unforeseen circumstances such as flight delays/changes, weather, traffic flow, etc. Please always double check with us with the latest updates.
Solo Traveler Tranfers
In the event there are no other guests to meet the minimum requirement for land and boat transfers, there will be an additional charge of RM250 per coach way (land transfers), and RM475 per boat way (boat transfers)

Peak Season Surcharges
5% peak season surcharges are applicable to the following dates:
• 1st July to 31st August 2019
• First week of October 2019
• 24th to 30th January 2020
Booking & Payment Terms
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required for booking confirmation, balance must be paid 14 days after deposit is made. Otherwise the resort reserves the right to cancel the booking for resale. Full payment is required 30 days before scheduled check-in date.
There will be no refunds on unutilised dives/services included in the package.
Booking Amendments
• Changing of packages midway is not allowed.
• Divers have to decide between diver and leisure package throughout their stay.
• Amendments to packages are subject to availability and much be made 14 days before the scheduled trip.
• Additional charges (if any), must be settled in full once the amendment is accepted.
Cancellation Policy
• Initial deposit of 30% is non-refundable
• 50% of full payment will be forfeited for cancellations made 15-30 days before the scheduled trip
• 75% of full payment will be forfeited for cancellations made 8-14 days before the scheduled trip
• No refunds for no-show or cancellations within 7 days of scheduled trip
Force Majure
We will not be liable in whole or in part by any cause beyond our control due to fire, flood, weather, strikes or other labour disputes, shortage of materials, transportation difficulties, accident, war, riot, acts of God, or change of laws
How To Get There
The nearest airport is Tawau Aiport, which is a 2-hour car ride to Semporna, thereafter a 45-minute boat ride to Mataking Island.
We’ll handle the logistic arrangements for your convenience. Just make your way to the jetty/airport.
Flight Timing Guide
• Arrivals: Ideally to arrive in the morning, or latest before 1430hrs, in order to make it for the last scheduled boat into the resort
• Departure: If you decide to stay at the resort up till last boat out at 1400hrs, best book flights after 1800hrs.
Important Notice
If you are taking a flight on your departure day and have been scuba diving the day before, it is highly recommended to book the afternoon flight after 1500hrs to ensure sufficient surface interval before flights.

Arrival Day
• Arrive at Tawau Airport by 1030hrs for transfers to Semporna
• Semporna transfers to the island at 1200hrs
• Arrive at the island at 1245hrs

• Non-divers package: Free and easy

Day 2-4
• Diver package: 3 guided boat dives per day, with unlimited unguided housereef diving (subject to dive centre’s timing)
